The seventh Portsoy Book Festival has arrived, and we have another exciting line-up of authors for all to enjoy. Our weekend kicks off on Friday 6th March with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ Murder Mystery Tribute presented by The Walking Theatre Company.  Author sessions over the weekend feature Ambrose Parry, comprised of husband and wife writing duo Chris Brookmyre and Dr Marisa Haetzman, ex Head of BBC Radio, Jeff Zycinski, crime thriller writer Lin Anderson, mystery writer, Gillian Galbriath and food writer Liz Ashworth.  Another very memorable weekend is promised.

 

We would also like to extend a very warm welcome to our new patron, Mr Andrew Simpson, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire who will open the festival on Saturday 7th March at 2pm.

 

Upstairs at the Salmon Bothy is fully accessible to all via the lift.
